House to House Collection 2018 - how it went

TETBURY HOSPITAL HOUSE-TO-HOUSE COLLECTION FUNDS NEW ULTRASOUND MACHINE

The Friends of Tetbury Hospital 2018 house-to-house collection has raised a massive £10,539.80 (including gift aid). This year the money raised will go towards purchasing an ultrasound machine which will be used during outpatient clinics and in the day surgery unit.

An ultrasound machine can aid in a variety of surgical procedures, particularly foot and ankle surgery. Using ultrasound, the anaesthetist can visualise the nerves which provide movement and sensation to parts of the body, and then inject local anaesthetic around them.

Comments Katharine Landale, acting chairman of The Friends of Tetbury Hospital, ‘We are absolutely delighted with the amount the House to House raised this year and on behalf of The Friends of Tetbury Hospital can I thank everyone who kindly donated in Tetbury and the surrounding areas for their generosity. In addition, huge thanks are due to all the Volunteers who collected money and delivered envelopes, their hard work has achieved a fabulous result.’
