Podiatrics (feet and lower limb)

Mr Gavin Hamilton is our Consultant Podiatric Surgeon who undertakes outpatient consultations at Tetbury on behalf of the Wye Valley NHS Trust.

Podiatric surgeons focus on the foot (bunions, arthritic joints, toe deformities, foot deformity, lumps and bumps etc.). A non-surgical option is always explored, if possible, and if appropriate. Conservative treatment options may include injection, orthotic and exercise therapies, before proceeding to surgical interventions.

We provide most of the non-surgical therapies by working in partnership with Gloucestershire Care Services NHS Podiatry Department, who also attend Tetbury Hospital once a month, delivering care closer to home
