The Private GP Service at Tetbury Hospital provides appointments for both adults and children to discuss your health concerns at a time convenient to you.
Covering the South West and the Cotswolds including Tetbury, Cirencester, Stroud, Cheltenham, Malmesbury, Chippenham, Swindon, Wiltshire and South Gloucestershire.
Our GP offers a rapid access service across the week, and where required, fast onward referral to the right private specialist.
Private GP Consultation £95.00 (30 minute appointment).
Additional services include blood tests, X-rays and scans (including referral for MRI and CT), ECG, vaccinations, medical reports and well-woman and well-man checks.
*Our enquiry line is not a 24 hour service and is manned by our administration team who will respond to you within office hours (08.30-16.00).

Dr Claire Rigby MB BS DRCOG DFFP
Dr Claire Rigby grew up in Wiltshire before moving to London to study at St Bartholomew’s Hospital Medical College. After qualifying in 1991 she worked in hospital medicine before training as a GP. She currently works as a GP partner at Spa Medical Centre in Melksham.
Dr Rigby has special interests in women's health, contraception, carpal tunnel surgery, nutrition and weight management.

Vaccination
Including Flu, Gardasil, Meningitis B
A private prescription will be issued for the vaccine to be purchased by patient from a local pharmacy.
The vaccine will then be administered by a GP as part of a normal consultation.
Please Note
All appointments and vaccinations are conducted and administered by private doctors. Consultation fees include the cost of writing a private prescription and/or referral letter to a consultant or specialist, and a follow-up phone call or email, if required, to discuss results.
Please note that while we will endeavour to charge the full amount immediately after a consultation, this is not always possible and you may be sent a further invoice.
CANCELLATION POLICY: Appointment cancelled within 48 hours - 50% of the consultation fee will be charged. Appointment cancelled within 24 hours (or appointment missed) 100% of the consultation fee will be charged.
