General surgery

General surgery is a surgical specialty that focuses on the surgical treatment of abdominal organs.

Our team of expert consultant general surgeons have decades of in-depth knowledge and experience in performing procedures such as hernia repair, local anaesthetic removal of lumps and bumps and soft tissue excision of cysts and lipomas.

NHS patients can be referred to Tetbury Hospital Trust by their GP who will ensure we are included as an option on the NHS-e-RS.

Private patients who are self-funding or have private medical insurance can receive specialist general surgery care by speaking to our private patient team. You may be asked for a referral from your GP.
