Our experienced ophthalmologists perform several procedures at Tetbury Hospital to diagnose, treat and manage conditions affecting the eyes and vision. This includes cataract surgery, soft tissue procedures and ocular plastic surgeries.

NHS patients can be referred to Tetbury Hospital Trust by their GP who will ensure we are included as an option on the NHS-e-RS.

Private patients who are self-funding or have private medical insurance can receive specialist ophthalmology surgery care by speaking to our private patient team. You may be asked for a referral from your GP.

Cataract Surgery

Selective Laser Trabeculoplasty (SLT) is a procedure used to reduce the pressure in the eye (intraocular pressure also known as IOP) to prevent damage to the optic nerve and sight loss.

YAG Laser Capsulotomy

YAG capsulotomy is laser surgery performed to create a small hole in the cloudy lens capsule. This allows light to pass through the membrane to the retina at the back of the eye and restore vision.
